Our investment banking division Client Solutions serves all our regions and is comprised of three excellent product factories: Corporate Solutions delivers tailored solutions in advisory, financing, risk management, trade and working capital for our corporate clients; Individual Solutions ensures a rich offering of investment and protection products for individuals; whilst Group Payments Solutions supports corporates, financial institutions, and individual customers in all their payments and liquidity management needs.
The Industrials Advisory team is part of UniCredit Sectors, a coverage and product unit at the core of UniCredit’s Advisory & Financing Solutions business within Client Solutions. We are the entry point for corporate and investor clients and provide M&A, ECM, DCM as well as transaction financing related advisory services with origination and execution capabilities in our core markets Italy, Germany, Austria and CEE. Our focus is on industrial and mobility related subsectors, including capital goods, materials, automotive, industrial services, transportation, and aerospace & defense.

Tasks and responsibilities as a Trainee in the Industrials Advisory team include:
- Company and market research
- Drafting and preparation of pitch and marketing materials for advisory and capital market mandates (M&A, ECM, etc.)
- Execution of detailed financial models on diverse takeover, financing and company situations including company valuations
- Supporting the execution and coordination of M&A buy-side and sell-side transactions along each single process step
- Interaction and communication with clients, investors and other advisors of our clients (e.g. legal, tax etc.)
- Working with other product groups within Client Solution as well as with UniCredit’s corporate coverage teams to originate advisory and financing mandates

You also match with the following requirements:
- You have recently completed your master’s degree in business administration, finance or economics with good/very good academic results (MBA, CFA is a plus), or have completed your studies within the last 2 years.
- Preferably prior experience in investment banking and/or consulting, ideally in M&A or alternatively in ECM or Structured/ Leveraged/Project Finance
- Ideally practical valuation expertise including comparable traded companies and comparable transactions analyses as well as cashflow based valuation methodologies
- Knowledge of Bloomberg / S&P CapitalIQ / FactSet / Mergermarket / et al.
- Special knowledge and reliability according to § 87 (2) WpHG (2. FiMANoG) and § 1a and § 6 WpHGMaAnzV
- Excellent MS Office skills (esp. Excel, Word & PowerPoint)
- Strong analytical, financial modeling, corporate finance and accounting skills
- Strong team player able to work and operate within different team compositions
- Hard-working and motivated to “make a difference”
- Willing to accept and master new challenges regularly
- Confident and assertive conduct vis-à-vis clients and partners
- Ability to work under pressure and deliver on-time and with high quality
- Strong oral and written skills ideally in both German and English
