Mercedes-Benz Cars Research and Development designs the automotive generation of the future. In addition to electrified driving, infotainment, driver assistance and connectivity, body electronics more and more drives the customer experience. Comfort and luxury of the premium brand Mercedes-Benz is clearly determined by its body and comfort systems. As part of MB.OS (Mercedes-Benz Operating System), we are building a new software development organization with the aspiration to bring leading edge software engineering to the soul of the vehicle to accelerate innovation in body and comfort. We want to push boundaries with respect to speed of innovation and software dependability. As a Trainee in “Software Engineering”, you will dive into the world of in-house software development at Mercedes-Benz and will shape the next generation of electronic control unit software in the Body & Comfort area as a basic software developer in a high-performance team.
Qualifications:
- An above-average degree (bachelor, master, MBA or doctorate) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or comparable course of study
- Maximum of 3 years of professional experience (apart from studies)
- At least 3 months of experience abroad (study, international internship, work and travel)
- Affinity and enthusiasm for digital technologies and trends
- Social commitment is preferred
- Excellent knowledge of English; good German language skills are an advantage
- You are ready to drive the transformation forward at Mercedes-Benz and take responsibility.
- You are open and communicative and have very good analytical skills.
- You are a team player and can motivate others.
- You have ideally experience in AUTOSAR, DevOps & software engineering practices
- Readiness to accept challenges and push the limits
- Mind-winning personality with enthusiasm to spread her/his knowledge and experience in the team
