Transformation Manager (m/f/d)

As the Transformation Manager, you will be part of the Transformation Office, which focuses on orchestrating various large-scale business transformation projects with significant impact across the entire company. This includes the implementation of a new business model, the integration of newly acquired companies or entities and/or restructuring activities. You will be in charge of heading one of these initiatives and will report directly to the Head of Transformation.

Your tasks in a nutshell:

  • Strategic planning & vision alignment: Support business units and functions in defining a target picture for organizational transformation, process optimization or reorganization. Develop comprehensive plans to achieve the desired state, ensuring alignment with long-term strategic goals.
  • Change management & stakeholder engagement: Facilitate transformation initiatives by ensuring full organizational buy-in. Engage with stakeholders to communicate the vision of process improvements, system implementations and restructuring efforts, while managing resistance and fostering collaboration.
  • Project management & execution: Lead and oversee the implementation of business transformation projects, such as operational reorganizations or process optimizations. Manage project timelines, resources, budgets and risks to ensure successful delivery of change initiatives.
  • Performance monitoring & metrics setup: Collaborate with the controlling department to establish key performance indicators (KPIs) that track the progress of transformation initiatives. Initiate corrective actions if performance goals related to process improvements or business reorganizations are not met.
  • Sustainability of change: Ensure that the benefits of business transformations, process optimizations or organizational restructuring are embedded in the company culture, securing long-term success and continuous improvement.

  • Experience: 10+ years of proven experience in leading transformation and change initiatives within large, complex organizations
  • Process management: Strong knowledge of process management methodologies
  • Education: Bachelor’s or master’s degree (or equivalent) in economical or technical studies
  • Industry: Expertise in downstream energy or related sector with a focus on supply & optimization, logistics or finance is beneficial
