This is an incredible time to join the business as you will be joining a expanding Finance function based in Berlin and helping to build out finance processes and supporting company wide initiatives. There are fantastic growth opportunities on offer, as the business scales you will develop alongside the team to provide information for business decisions and improve operations.
Job Summary
Responsibilities of the role will include:
Prepare monthly management accounts with accurate variance analysis and insightful commentary for board reporting (P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow) Oversee the finance corporate calendar, ensuring all deadlines, filings, and compliance requirements are met and maintained across all jurisdictions Support the assessment, improvement, and monitoring of financial controls across processes and systems to mitigate risks, prevent incidents, and ensure compliance, while improving the finance playbook to provide greater transparency and consistency across the organization Stay up to date on financial reporting and regulatory changes in the digital asset space Continuously review and improve processes and systems to ensure efficiency Assist the team with audits, compliance, and ensuring adherence to reporting standards Ensure timely receipt and review of deliverables prepared by external service providers (VAT and Payroll) Work closely with the accounts payable analyst to maintain smooth processes and ensure timely invoice coding and accruals. Perform ad-hoc business and financial analysis to support the business as they scale
Exam-Qualified / Qualified, ACA certification 2-4 years of experience in accounting, finance or related field Proficiency in financial reporting, reconciliation, and audit preparation Experience with FRS/IFRS accounting standards Familiarity with blockchain technology or strong interest in learning about the crypto sector Proficiency in excel and accounting software preferred Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team Self-motivated, able to work towards deadlines
