Leyline is a newly founded Game Studio based in Munich. We are driven by a passion for crafting groundbreaking games that focus on roleplaying and strategic depth. We are working on a cooperative roguelike-title for PC.

As part of our early team, you’ll have the opportunity to shape the future of our company and gain invaluable experience in the gaming industry.

We are seeking a talented and motivated Working Student with a passion for game engines and visual effects. You will play a crucial role in translating the artistic vision into the game engine, maintaining and setting up parts of the art production while collaborating with the art and dev team.

  • Collaborate with dev, design and art team to create or incorporate visual effects for characters, environments and UI
  • Researching and implementing technical solutions for lighting, shaders, camera handling and asset implementation
  • Incorporating assets created by artists
  • Keeping an eye on performance of graphical assets and shaders
  • Staying up-to-date with development standards and engine updates

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Computer Science, Games Engineering, Computer Graphics or a related field
  • Familiarity with the Unity Engine
  • Understanding of C#, Shader-programming (node-based or HLSL) and handling 2D textures in a program like Photoshop
  • Both interested in visual arts and technical implementation
  • A passion for video games in general
