Summary of the Position

Our team is planning all non-labor operating expenses across the cost lines and their contracts for the Data centre and Public cloud, striving for Financial Excellence.

We are involved in high level planning processes for the current year, the Budget planning for the coming financial year and also the Long Term Planning for the next couple of years. We are providing a transparent view of the Non-Labor Operational cost of our Business Unit. To do that we are in close contact with many stakeholders within the company to ensure accurate planning and continuous improvement of activities to improve the Operational Run. This includes the planning of Software, Hardware and Cloud cost as well Data Communication, General & Administration cost and Consulting Services.
We make sure to enable the TEC strategy of the company by provisioning the non-labor financial requirements and showcase the risks to empower decision making.

Here we are the Non Labor team, belonging to the Capacity and Operational Planning organization. Our team consists of 5 people, two in Erding, one in the US, one in Columbia and one in Australia. We are a vibrant and diverse team, working together to achieve our goals and taking care of a great work atmosphere.

We are looking for a working student to support us. The candidate will support an agile team with planning responsibilities including a high level of communication with various stakeholders to follow planning processes.

  • Learn about the structure of Hardware and General&Admin cost lines & the planning process
  • Support on Hardware and G&A cost line operational planning
  • Help on overall Non Labor planning activities
  • Work together with us by gathering data, providing analysis and documentation

  • Be enrolled in a graduate of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with a major in Finance, Economics, Controlling or related field
  • Fluent in English
  • Analytical thinking
  • Good communication skills
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office tools
  • Keen interest in cost structure of a data center and the cloud technology
  • Solid background in finance (accounting, controlling)
