The opportunity:

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Working Student to join our Adobe Cloud Platform – Security & Compliance team based in Hamburg (this is a hybrid role with weekly office presence required).

The Adobe Cloud Platform (ACP) powers all your favorite Adobe products like Photoshop, Express, Acrobat, and many more. It’s the backbone that provides essential functions such as file management, search, and collaboration.

We’d be thrilled to have you join our engineering team, where you’ll focus on the security and compliance (S&C) aspects of our cloud platform. To get you up to speed, we’ll pair you with a friendly buddy who will help you explore the platform step by step and guide you on making meaningful contributions. You’ll collaborate closely with our dedicated teams in Hamburg and also connect with our international partners in the US and India.

This opportunity offers you an incredible chance to learn what it means to ensure that large-scale web services that millions of Adobe users rely on every day is designed, developed, tested, and operated in a secure and compliant way.

    You’ll be involved in helping the service teams to understand and implement the needed S&C requirements and will help in assessing threats, implement best practices and assist in fixing issues
    Learn about the internal and external S&C standards and how to implement them in a large-scale cloud service environment.
    You will help build tools to automate recurring tasks or to integrate our tools with offerings from global Adobe Security & Compliance teams

    Enrolled in a relevant University degree
    Curiosity about application and infrastructure S&C topics
    Reading code is easy for you, and you can write code in a programming language of your choice (ideally Python). You know how to work with command line interfaces and shell scripts
    Basic understanding of cloud platforms, containerization, and distributed systems
    If you see something, you speak up
    Dedication to team-work and self-organization
    Fluency in English, knowledge or willingness to learn German
