Our Market Analysis team in Düsseldorf is looking for you!
- You gain an overview over environmental markets, with a focus on the European emission trading system (EU ETS) and the emission trading system in the United Kingdom (UK ETS)
- You support our team in the development of fundamental market models
- You improve our code base to increase user-friendliness and implement new functionalities
- You prepare and analyse data for ad-hoc analyses regarding emission markets in Europe
- You gather information on market trends and the expected future behaviour of market participants, especially in the field of expected decarbonization strategies
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering (energy, renewables, or sustainability systems preferred) or (Energy) Economics
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Python (or at least one similar programming language)
- Proactive mindset, strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Previous work or project experience in energy & market modelling is a plus
- Fluency in English (verbal and written), German is a plus
