- As a Working Student (m/f/d) you assist in data collection, cleaning and preprocessing tasks
- You support statistical analysis and hypothesis testing
- You also collaborate on developing and evaluating machine learning models
- Helping to create informative data visualizations using Power BI is part of your tasks
- You contribute to documentation of data science projects
- You stay up-to-date with advancements in data science and contribute to research efforts
- You provide general support to the data science team, such as organizing files and scheduling meetings
- You are an enrolled student (m/f/d) in a relevant degree program (e.g., Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science) at an accredited university
- You possess proficiency in Python and SQL for data manipulation and analysis, as well as familiarity with data science libraries and frameworks (e.g., pandas, NumPy, Scikit-Learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch)
- You have experience with Microsoft Azure for cloud computing and data storage
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, GCP, AWS) and distributed computing frameworks (e.g., PySpark) is a plus
- Familiarity with data visualization tools(e.g., Power BI, matplotlib) is advantageous
- You have a good understanding of statistical analysis and machine learning algorithms (e.g., XGBoost, LightGBM)
- You have sharp analytical and problem-solving skills, with a passion for data-driven insights
- You have strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment
- You also provide excellent organizational and time management skills to balance work and academic responsibilities
