As Digital Marketing & Social Media Manager you will be the marketing brain of the team, and will be responsible for strategising new content in terms of funnel position, target audience, KPIs and desired actions. You will work alongside the Commercial Content Editor who produces the campaigns to make sure they speak to the right people at the right time, and ultimately achieve the client’s goals. 

You will also be responsible for designing, setting up and optimising social media campaigns across Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and occasionally LinkedIn to promote the content pieces over their set campaign period. You must be decisive and comfortable with a fast-paced schedule as we often have limited time to “test and see” during the agreed campaign window (usually 30 days). 

Before, during and after campaigns you are also responsible for tracking the progress of the campaigns, making live optimisation decisions based on analytics data and summarising the performance in a campaign report. You should be proactive about using any insights coming from the summary report when recommending or planning out future campaigns, and learn from what you have tried in the past. 

You should also be comfortable with various Analytics tools including Google Analytics, Facebook Ads Manager, Sprout Social, Crazy Egg heat mapping, Google Data Studio and more. You need to be comfortable testing these tools if there are ever discrepancies, and it’s helpful to be familiar with tools such as Google Developer tools and be able to read some code (we do not expect any coding experience). 

You will report to the Sales Director. The role has previously been based in our Stockholm office, but we are open to basing it in our Berlin or Paris offices for the right candidate.

Requirements:

  • At least two years experience in a digital marketing role, ideally with experience in social media and content creation
  • Native or fluent English writing style
  • The right to live and work in the EU
  • Familiarity and ease with using analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Facebook Ads Manager, Sprout Social, Crazy Egg heat mapping, Google Data Studio and more

Candidates who speak French, German, Spanish, Italian or a Scandinavian language will have an advantage, but speaking one of these languages is not an absolute requirement.

Salary dependent on experience. Flexible start-date.
