HR & Finance Assistant (m/f/d)

Full-time · Garching b. München

We are seeking a Finance Team Assistant who will support us in daily tasks and enable seamless process flow in our department. You will report directly to the Head of Finance and CFO, stay on top of all HR-related topics, and support the team with a wide range of financial, accounting, and management tasks.

  • People & HR: Day-to-day HR operations, onboarding/offboarding, payroll support, employee requests.
  • Finance & Accounting: Assistance with monthly closings, accounts payable/receivable, and procurement.
  • Executive Support: Direct support to Head of Finance and CFO on operational and strategic matters.
  • General Operations: Identifying process improvements to enhance efficiency.

  • Experience in HR & Finance: 2+ years of experience in accounting, HR, finance, and controlling. Completed a commercial apprenticeship or university degree in a related field.
  • Mindset: Positive attitude with strong attention to detail. Comfortable working at a fast pace in a dynamic environment.
  • Flexibility: Open to a flexible schedule several times per week; ability to collaborate with the US-based team across time zones.
  • Languages: Full business proficiency in English; German is a strong plus.
  • Tools: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office. Experience with DATEV and Odoo is a strong plus. Open to adopting new technologies and AI tools.
