- Lead our S/4 HANA transition project for 5 plants in 3 countries together with the overall project lead from Vorwerk Engineering and the external project lead of the selected implementation partner
- Responsibly lead the technological transformation from the existing SAP ECC 6.0 landscape to the S/4 HANA target system for our production companies in alignment with the business goals
- Be accountable and responsible for all IT deliveries within the project such as solution design, implementation, test, deployment and hypercare
- Manage, motivate and support internal and external implementation teams without disciplinary authority; Represent our agile principles and ensure that project team members can work independently
- Monitor project progress, risks and benefits and ensure project completion on time and in line with scope, quality and budget goals
- Manage the daily interaction with functional stakeholders, project managers, internal IT teams and external implementation partners
- Provide profound technical expertise to the business process re-engineering at Vorwerk Engineering
- Manage and effectively communicate expectations of stakeholder groups; Provide solution options to meet business requirements
- Communicate project progress, risks and budget to high-level management stakeholders in the entire Vorwerk organization
- Successfully completed master’s degree in Business Information Technology, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or other equivalent disciplines
- Proven, multi-year experience as IT project manager in large SAP ECC to S/4 HANA transitions in engineering and discrete manufacturing companies, ideally in data migration projects and international environments
- Profound knowledge about required technical changes in SAP ECC to S/4 HANA transitions; Relevant knowledge about different project approaches in conversions and selective data transitions
- Profound process expertise across SAP modules relevant for discrete manufacturing companies
- Appropriate experience in applying agile and classic project management methods, ideally in SAP Activate, Prince II and Scrum
- Deep understanding of the SAP technology, architecture and strategy
- Very good lateral management skills
- Solution-oriented mindset and hands-on mentality
- Adequate experience in balancing conflicting requirements with global cost-efficient delivery
- Fluent German and English language skills; Proven ability to communicate with high-level stakeholders as well as internal and external IT implementation teams
- Willingness to travel (approx. 10%)
