We are looking for an experienced Backend Engineer:

  • Work on all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle together with the backend engineering team
    (Planning, Define Requirements, Design and Prototyping, Software Development, Testing, Deployment, Operations and Maintenance)
  • Write maintainable and well-tested code
  • Collaborate with your cross-functional team to determine requirements, plan and document your solution
  • Work in an agile team that brings together product, design and engineering expertise to create and implement the
    future of electric vehicle charging
  • Take ownership of the architecture, design, development, deployment and operations of the microservices
    making sure it is compliant with coding standards, monitoring production environment, and fixing bugs
  • Refactor Mercilessly

  • You’ve already gathered 6+ years experience with the toolchain mentioned above
  • You know what it’s like to work in a fast growing startup like JUCR
  • You write maintainable and well-tested code
  • Our tech stack includes TypeScript, Node.js, MongoDB, Kafka and Kubernetes – among many other great technologies.
  • You know basic concepts of CI/CD and are able to deploy your code to our infrastructure
  • You know how to work with NoSQL databases like MongoDB
  • Must be resident or willing to relocate to Berlin, Germany
