For our department Technologies and Partnerships being part of Sustainability Office , we are looking for a Project Director CCUS ANRAV (f/m/d) .

The position can be based either in Germany (Heidelberg) or Bulgaria (Varna) but should be committed to visit Bulgaria on a regular basis. You will report solid to the Position Global CCUS Director (department Technologies & Partnerships), or – if preferred – to the General Manager Bulgaria/Greece/Albania and dotted to the Chief Sustainability Officer (CSO) Heidelberg Materials AG.

YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE

  • Full ownership of all project aspects and results from its existing position to full commissioning

  • Define the project’s key objectives and be the central point of reception for all necessary inputs from the project organization

  • Monitor and coordinate all key project activities to avoid variances to the project schedule, budget or expected project deliverables

  • Build and retain a strong liaison with external and internal stakeholders

  • Communicate effectively to the Project Steering Committee

  • Lead a team of project managers in charge of sub projects (e.g., technical, non-technical, transport & storage)

YOUR PROFILE

  • Proven strong project management skills in managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders

  • Academic background of Business / Economics (e.g., MBA, Business Engineering, Economics, etc.)

  • Minimum 8-10 years working experience

  • A pragmatic, common-sense and down to earth ‘roll up your sleeves’ style

  • Strong change management skills, results-oriented and flexible to adapt to changing circumstances

  • Excellent communication and visionary leadership skills

  • EU citizen, fluent in English language

  • A background in CCUS is not required but can be a plus
