The Global SuccessFactors Employee Central consultant is responsible for defining, managing, and optimizing the global processes related to the Employee Central within SAP SuccessFactors. This role ensures that processes are standardized, compliant, and aligned with the overall HR strategy while supporting local needs and regulatory requirements. The consultant serves as a key liaison between the business, HR, IT, and external partners to ensure seamless system functionality and process improvement.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Process Ownership & Strategy

  • Own the end-to-end global processes for Employee Central, ensuring they meet business and legal requirements across all regions
  • Develop and maintain a global process strategy, focusing on scalability, standardization, and continuous improvement of HR operations
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to align processes with business objectives, employee development, and HR digitalization strategies

System Optimization & Management

  • Drive the configuration, enhancement, and optimization of the Employee Central to meet current and future business needs
  • Monitor and analyse system performance, identifying opportunities for process automation and efficiency improvements
  • Partner with IT teams to manage system upgrades, maintenance, and new feature rollouts in SuccessFactors, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations

Global Compliance & Best Practices

  • Ensure global compliance with local regulatory requirements related to learning programs and employee data management, including GDPR and labour laws
  • Standardize global processes while enabling flexibility for country-specific legal requirements, particularly in highly regulated regions

Stakeholder Management & Collaboration

  • Act as a bridge between HR, IT, and external vendors to ensure process alignment and effective communication
  • Lead global and regional stakeholder workshops to gather input on process improvements, system enhancements, and future requirements
  • Train and support HR teams on best practices for using the Employee Central modules effectively

Data Governance & Reporting

  • Ensure data integrity within the Employee Central systems, establishing clear data governance policies
  • Leverage analytics and reporting tools to provide insights into employee engagement and overall HR effectiveness
  • Regularly review system data to ensure accuracy and relevance, addressing issues promptly

Project Management

  • Lead global process transformation projects, such as module implementations or system integrations, ensuring on-time delivery and alignment with business goals
  • Coordinate across global teams to manage project timelines and stakeholder communication
  • Ensure smooth transitions during process changes, including training and user support

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, IT, or a related field
  • Experience in HRIS, with a strong focus on SAP SuccessFactors, particularly Employee Central
  • Proven experience as Employee Central or similar role in large-scale, international HR transformation projects
  • Deep understanding of global HR processes and regulatory compliance
  • Expertise in process improvement and optimization methodologies
  • Strong project management skills, with experience leading cross-functional global projects
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Proficient in data analysis, reporting tools, and SuccessFactors modules
