Description
We are seeking a Technical Writer – Specification Team Member (M/F/D) for our client, SOFHA , a Berlin-based software company with over 40 years of expertise in high-performance image processing for the professional printing industry.
SOFHA Work with leading printer manufacturers, especially in Japan, to create smart print workflow solutions using industry standards like Adobe PostScript®, Adobe PDF Print Engine®, and JDF/JMF. The software runs on Linux, and the design user interfaces for Windows, macOS, and web applications. With a team of around 50 international professionals, they offer a collaborative culture, flexible work arrangements, and continuous learning opportunities.
- MadCapFlare.
- Use Jira to track and manage product specification tasks.
- Collaborate with frontend and backend developers to gather technical requirements and document them clearly and effectively.
- Work closely with quality assurance specialists to refine specifications based on testing feedback and system updates.
- Ensure documentation meets quality standards by following internal authoring guidelines.
- Utilize tools like Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft Excel, and Greenshot to create and enhance visual elements.
- Oversee the publication of technical specifications, ensuring alignment with release schedules.
- Maintain accuracy, clarity, and completeness across all documentation.
University degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience in technicaldocumentation (TekomCertificationpreferred ).
Strong command of the English language. German language command is a plus.
Minimalistic writing style using structured authoring principles to maximize content reusability.
