Description

At Haiilo, we’re all about making work feel more connected and meaningful. More than 3.5 million employees at companies like Salesforce, Rabobank, and Ritter Sport use our digital home for social intranet, communications, employee advocacy and insights to stay informed, engaged, and heard.
From company updates to employee advocacy and insights, we make it easier for organizations to reach their people and build a culture where everyone feels valued.

We’re looking for a Senior People Partner to join us on a 12-month parental leave cover contract.

In this role, you’ll act as a trusted adviser, coach, and culture champion, partnering closely with leaders across the business and driving forward critical people initiatives for our global teams.

Your tasks

Reporting to the Chief People and Culture Officer, you’ll play a strategic and hands-on role during a vital period for our People & Culture team. Your mission:

  • Strategic People Partnering: Build strong, trusted relationships with managers and executives, providing guidance on all aspects of people management, including workforce planning, employee relations and organisational effectiveness.
  • Coaching and Development: Support managers at all levels, from junior to executive, on talent management practices such as performance management, career development, and succession planning. Empower leaders to drive team engagement, morale, and productivity.
  • Employee Relations & Compliance: Oversee and resolve complex employee relations cases, with support from internal and external legal counsel as needed. Act as the in-house expert on German employment law.
  • Organisational Culture & Engagement: Champion a collaborative, inclusive culture across remote and hybrid teams. Design and implement programmes to improve engagement and retention.
  • Talent Management & Development: Identify and drive talent initiatives, including succession planning, career development and performance improvement programmes.
  • Data & Analytics: Leverage HR data and analytics to provide insights, measure the effectiveness of initiatives and drive data-informed decision-making.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for enhancing organisational effectiveness. Lead change initiatives, manage projects, and implement processes to improve the employee experience and business outcomes.
  • Project Management: Work closely with the CPCO, and in partnership with the People Operations Partner and Talent Acquisition Manager, to devise and drive initiatives and projects across all aspects of the employee experience, enterprise-wide.
  • People Leadership: Manage, mentor, and grow the People Operations Specialist, supporting their development and performance.

  • 10+ years of proven strategic HR experience-ideally in a Senior People Partner or HR Business Partner role-within fast-growing and/or international organisations, with prior hands-on experience in People Operations.
  • Strong expertise in German employment law and employee relations. Experience working with employees and managers from Finland, the UK and/or US is a plus, but not a key requirement.
  • Experience coaching and supporting leaders at all levels.
  • A strong track record in fostering inclusive, high-performance cultures-especially in hybrid or remote setups.
  • Comfort working with HR systems (we work with Personio) and leveraging data to drive decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills (German and English required), high emotional intelligence, and sound judgement.
  • A pro-active, hands-on, and solution oriented mindset.
  • A passion for working with people and a desire to support them during their talent journey to help them grow.
