Your position at a glance:

As a Compliance Specialist, you will play a critical role in improving the privacy practices of our software and processes. You’ll work across internal and external products while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure that our products meet the highest privacy standards.

Your tasks:

Maintain privacy knowledge base: Keep our internal and external stakeholders informed with up-to-date documentation on privacy practices.

Ensure privacy compliance: Advise teams across the company about privacy laws and regulations, including GDPR, COPPA and FERPA, and maintain compliance documentation.

Conduct or oversee audits: Coordinate or conduct regular privacy and compliance audits.

Support in VPAT and accessibility compliance: create and manage accessibility documentation.

Support customer privacy needs: Handle customer requests and help them navigate vendor due diligence processes.

Drive privacy improvements: Work closely with teams to ensure our products meet privacy best practices across web, systems, and infrastructure.

Collaborate and communicate: Act as the go-to person for privacy-related queries and ensure smooth collaboration with other teams.

Your profile:

3+ years of experience in a related field

Deep understanding of privacy regulations and practices (GDPR, COPPA, etc.)

Experience with Accessibility Standards (e.g., WCAG)

Fluency in English and German

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, particularly in analyzing and implementing privacy frameworks

Fluency in English with excellent written communication skills

Experience with web, system, network, and infrastructure privacy solutions
