Job Description

We’re looking for an experienced Head of E-commerce/Growth Manager to join our team. In this role, you’ll lead the development and execution of e-commerce and growth strategies, aligning with company goals.

Main Responsibilities:

  • E-commerce Strategy:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive e-commerce strategy to increase online sales and market share with clear focus on performance marketing.
  • Identify and evaluate new opportunities for growth through market analysis and customer insights.
  • Team Leadership:
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Provide guidance and support to cross-functional teams involved in e-commerce operations.
  • Performance Optimization:
  • Analyze key performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of e-commerce initiatives.
  • Implement strategies to optimize website traffic, conversion rates, and customer retention.
  • Build new traffic channels.
  • Partnerships and Collaborations:
  • Establish and nurture relationships with key partners and vendors to drive brand awareness and revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to align e-commerce efforts with overall business objectives.
  • Technology Integration:
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend and implement the latest e-commerce tools and platforms.
  • Oversee the integration of new technologies to enhance the online shopping experience.
  • Budget Management:
  • Develop and manage budgets for e-commerce and growth initiatives, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to achieve ROI goals.
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance against budgetary goals.
  • International Expansion:
  • Explore opportunities for European market expansion, overseeing the adaptation of e-commerce strategies to diverse global markets.
  • Coordinate with international teams to ensure consistency in brand messaging and user experience.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting:
  • Utilize analytics tools to generate insights, prepare regular performance reports, and present findings to the executive team.
  • Make data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement and adaptation of e-commerce strategies.
  • Strategy Development:
  • Synthesize consumer insights, technology trends, business objectives, market data, and competitive benchmarking to develop hypotheses and tests to create differentiated customer experiences.
  • Build near and longer-term strategic roadmaps along with compelling business cases, assess viability and feasibility of recommended solutions.
  • Articulate customer experience strategy, including opportunity sizing, value framework, budgets, ROI, etc.

  • Proven experience as a Head of E-commerce, Growth Manager, or in a similar leadership role.
  • Proficient network of Advertisers in Germany (must have) and Europe (preferred).
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce trends, consumer behavior, and digital marketing strategies.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Leadership experience with the ability to inspire and guide a diverse team.
  • Proven track record of successfully developing and implementing e-commerce growth strategies, resulting in measurable business impact.
  • Extensive experience in analyzing market trends, consumer behavior, and competition to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Demonstrated success in negotiating and managing key partnerships to drive brand awareness and revenue growth.
  • Experience with e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, Magento, or WooCommerce, along with a solid understanding of ERP and CRM systems.
  • Successful management of budgets for e-commerce and growth initiatives, with a focus on achieving ROI goals.
  • Experience in international market expansion and coordination with diverse global teams is an asset.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Good level of German is a plus.
