The Leibniz Centre for General Linguistics Berlin (ZAS) is a nationally and internationally well- networked non-university research institute of the Leibniz Association. It investigates the biological, cognitive and social aspects of human language ability and its expression in individual languages and combines theoretical and applied research. We are looking for Russian-speaking interns to support the
Collaborative Research Center (CRC) project “Real-time
Register Comprehension in Adolescent Heritage Speakers’
Languages” (m/f/d)
• Involvement in the ongoing project with supervision by research staff. • Practical experience in conducting psycholinguistic studies, particularly with eye-tracking. • Participation in data analysis and events. • The opportunity to work independently on selected tasks. • Insight into the project’s work and other projects within the CRC.
• You are a student of linguistics, German studies, Slavic studies, or a related field. • You are interested in psycholinguistic studies and eye-tracking. • Very good Russian language skills are an advantage. • You are able to work independently, in a structured and goal-oriented manner.
Depending on the arrangement, internships can vary in length (up to 2-3 months). They are unpaid, but can be recognized as research internships at universities. The number of hours is flexible.
