- As part of our motivated team, you are responsible for the further development of our gaming portal, implementing new features, and maintaining existing ones based on a microservice architecture using Node.js and PHP.
- Your daily tasks include maintaining, improving, and monitoring our highly scalable AWS infrastructure, which is based on RabbitMQ, Redis, MongoDB, and MySQL.
- Serving as an interface to the Business Intelligence team, you are responsible for maintaining our event-based tracking from our portal.
- When developing new features, you always keep maintainability, performance, and the various requirements of our web and mobile clients in mind.
- You thrive in cooperative collaboration with your colleagues, project managers, graphic designers, and other developers to create shared, creative concepts and continuously improve our product.
- You work independently, conscientiously, and communicate and document the status of your work in English.
- You have successfully completed a degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification.
- At least 5 years of professional experience as a backend developer.
- You are proficient in TypeScript (Node.js) and/or PHP and have a strong understanding of distributed systems and asynchronous programming.
- You are interested in or have experience with setting up ETL processes using DBT and Airflow.
- Experience with MySQL (or another RDBMS) in database design, implementation, and optimization.
- You have experience working with AWS services; familiarity with Terraform is a plus.
- Basic understanding of Linux and shell scripting.
- Knowledge of RabbitMQ and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Redis) is an Experience with frontend development technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, Angular) is beneficial but not required.
- A strong understanding of quality, reliability, and communicative development skills (e.g., Git, Jira, Confluence, etc.).
- Ability to develop independently and complete projects.
- You are fluent in German and English.
