The Opportunity
The business has a unique opportunity to realign business processes globally and make the entire Group ready for the future. Today, around 14,000 employees work with existing SAP ERP systems. They call up over 50 million transactions every month.
ZEISS aims to standardize and regularize different ERP systems, from numerous companies across the entire Group during the changeover from SAP R/3 to SAP S/4HANA. The goal is to be as close as possible to the SAP standard and to harmonize processes across all segments and countries wherever it makes sense, focusing around; Efficiency, Effectivity, Speed, Flexibility & Compliance.

ZEISS are seeking a passionate, dynamic Senior Hub Business Expert to join this exciting time for the organisation. The successful candidates will be responsible for managing business requirements and designing required process adaptions.
You will be required to have in-depth understanding of end-to-end business processes and business requirements that specifically focus within a SAP environment. You must have Excellent conceptual, results-oriented and communication skills, that will enable you to navigate through the complexity and pace of the ZEISS Fit4 programme.
Key Responsibilities

Taking responsibility for the analysis and coordination of the elaboration of global end-to-end business processes and requirements in alignment with business representatives of the ZEISS IQR segment and IT experts

Manage (regional/segment-specific) business requirements (incl. business roles, data design) in the context of the global template SAP S/4HANA system in local fit-gap analyses under leadership of deputy/hub process owners

Drive adaptation of end-to-end business processes (incl. process modelling) towards FIT4 goals of harmonization and standardization and liaise with entity business experts on preparatory work, e.g., data cleansing

Provide guidance for & steer junior hub business experts (e.g., requirements analysis, business process modelling)

Design and own test cases and conduct functional end-to-end tests in the SAP S/4HANA system

Actively contribute to the roll-in of assigned roll-in projects in a region (mainly within a segment, and, if deemed necessary by regional hub-lead, also across SBUs/ segments)

Contribute, as organized by training lead, to creation of training materials, and, if required, support end user training

4-6 years of relevant professional experience

In-depth understanding of at least one end-to-end business process (Lead-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Engineer-to-Order / Idea-to-Market, Service-to-Customer, Plan-to-Produce, Inbound-to-Outbound, Record-to-Report and specialty areas like Quality Management or Master Data Management)

Proven track record in handling complex projects within larger international companies and various stakeholders

Proven experience with business requirements management and design of business processes

Experience with SAP R/3 (and ideally SAP S/4HANA) as well as relevant third-party business systems
