Description

Position Summary The Carpenter is responsible for performing a variety of carpentry tasks as assigned. In general, the work of the maintenance carpenter requires rounded training and experience usually acquired through a formal apprenticeship or equivalent training and

– Operate and maintain carpentry tools and equipment
– Performs carpentry duties necessary to maintain in good repair building woodwork and equipment such as bins, cribs, counters, benches, partitions, doors, floors, stairs, casings, and trim made of wood
– Work involves most of the following: planning and laying out of work from blueprints, drawings, models, or verbal instructions
– Using a variety of carpenter’s hand tools, portable power tools and standard measuring instruments;
– Making standard shop computations relating to dimensions of work; and selecting materials necessary for the work
– Other duties as

– High school diploma or GED required
– Valid Trades License /

– Fluent in English
– Experience:
– Must possess a minimum of two (2) years’ experience in carpentry
– Must possess the ability to obtain a German Work Permit to live and work in Germany
– Must possess the ability to obtain a German driver’s license for passenger vehicles (car/van/small truck/small trailer)
– Organizational Skills: Ability to multitask, organize, and pay attention to detail
– Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
– Adaptability: Flexible and able to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
– Discretion: Maintain a high level of integrity and discretion when handling sensitive information
– Proactive: The individual must be proactive and self-motivated to anticipate the needs of the manager
– Team Player: Dedicated team player with a can-do attitude and strong commitment to the company’s
