Tasks

Your role

We are looking for an Account Executive who will work within our business development team to drive revenue and support our clients with sustainability expertise throughout the sales and customer success process.

Our ideal candidate has experience in sales or customer success processes and experience engaging with clients, as well as some experience in or understanding of sustainability knowledge work.

Your profile

Client-facing feels like home – you enjoy engaging with interesting clients and prospects who are looking to learn more about what we do, ask questions, and test out our products.

  • Passion for sustainability and tech – we don’t expect you to be Kate Brandt or Mark Carney, but you do bring some experience or knowledge of sustainability management, EU environmental regulation, and other sustainability topics.
  • Curiosity by default – you love learning more about topics, asking questions, and sharing knowledge with others.
  • Collaborative spirit – part of what excites you about this role is that you will be able to work with multiple teams within the company, ranging from founders to business development and product.

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of experience in customer facing roles, e.g. sales/account management, customer success, partnerships, or consulting.
  • Early experience/passion for sustainability, ranging from sustainability consulting or auditing to supply chain ESG and in-house sustainability management.
  • Affinity for technology and a drive to learn about building products, AI and LLMs (with proper support, of course).
  • Fluent in both English and German.
  • Presentation skills and experience, whether in front of 3 or 200 people
  • Willingness to travel as part of client engagements, as needed

Nice-to-haves:

  • Experience working in startups or with technology
  • Additional business proficiency in a major European language.
  • Specific expertise in any of the following areas: supply chain ESG procurement , ESG auditing, ESG compliance, ESG asset management
  • Experience doing market research, product discovery, and user interviews.

Please note that native-level German is a mandatory requirement for this role.
