- Development and implementation of procurement strategies for electronic / mechanical components and assemblies
- Carrying out market analyses and identifying new suppliers
- Maintaining and expanding relationships with existing suppliers
- Negotiating contracts and prices with suppliers
- Responsible for supplier selection in cooperation with the Quality, Production Support and Development departments
- Identification and realization of savings potential and continuous optimization of procurement processes
- Carrying out risk assessments and developing risk mitigation measures
- Preparation of calculations for new products (NPI)
- Participation in the purchasing controlling team
- Planning and control of material cost development
- Supporting operational purchasing in the course of process optimizations and escalations
- Involvement in product life cycle management
- Degree in industrial engineering, business administration, electrical engineering or comparable qualification
- Alternatively, commercial training and several years of professional experience in a similar position
- Several years of professional experience in purchasing or supply chain management, ideally in the field of electronics or mechanics
- Sound knowledge in the field of electronic / mechanical components and assemblies
- Experience in contract negotiation and supplier management
- Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking
- Negotiating skills and assertiveness
- Strong communication skills and team spirit
- Very good knowledge of MS Office and ideally experience with SAP 4 Hana
- Fluent German and good written and spoken English skills
