Founded in 2018, Quant IP’s small team currently serves clients that are among world’s 100 largest asset managers by AUM, leading hedge funds, sovereign wealth funds and pension funds. They especially value Quant IP’s data quality and tailor made solutions for the investment community.
We are now looking for a dedicated, natural sales person to help us speed up our expansion with data solutions for quantitative investors.
Tasks
Responsibility
You will be responsible for finding new clients and for the full sales-cycle: identifying target companies, persons, cold-calling, organizing and running meetings, setting up trials, signing contracts, securing renewals.
Requirements
Skills that we look for
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a sales development representative or sales manager
- The will and drive to pick up the phone to make sure you talk and meet with the right people at the right companies
- Ability to run the full sales-cycle including lead generation, objection handling and deal closing
- International communication skills to address and build relations with all levels of the client’s organization: CIO, Head of (quantitative) Equity/Research, Portfolio Manager, Researcher etc.
- Ability to work independently in home-office if you do not live in München
- Experience of selling to financial market participants and asset managers in particular is a plus
- Experience of selling data products (feeds, APIs, database access) is a plus
