At ST. ROBO, as a Technical director, you’ll be key in crafting and executing tour productions and live events. Your role involves turning innovative concepts into realities and overseeing projects from inception to completion.

Aufgaben

  • Propose equipment solutions and audiovisual controls according to the design and budget of a project
  • Develop plans, technical drawings, and diagrams that show equipment placement, as well as electrical hookups and show control (video/audio)
  • Oversee equipment in all departments
  • Optimize production fluidity
  • Act as the points person for producers and directors, in order to ensure each project’s technical efficiency
  • Establish a symbiotic relationship between the environment, the content, and the technologies used (quality control)
  • Develop daily operational procedures in collaboration with integrators
  • Travel occasionally to supervise the integration of projects
  • Coordinate the usage of space, and the scheduling of setup and breakdown
  • Ensure internal technical support

  • 4-7 years of experience in engineering, equipment management, and employee supervision, with 3 years in technical direction related to live entertainment and touring.
  • Fluent in Vectorworks and Spreadsheets
  • Knowledge in Lighting, Video, Rigging, Audio, Staging
  • Knowledge in structural engineering and custom builds
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Skilled in managing human resources
  • Skilled in project management
