Description

The Senior Technical Sales Representative at DENPAFLUX is a key driver in our sales strategy, responsible for leading the sales of our EMC compliance solutions and services. With a deep understanding of the industry and technical expertise, this individual will identify, engage, and close deals with potential customers, while also nurturing long-term relationships. The Senior Sales Representative is expected to act as a mentor to junior sales staff, provide leadership in the absence of the Commercial Director, and contribute to the strategic direction of the sales department.

Sales Leadership and Customer Acquisition:

  • Lead the identification and pursuit of new sales opportunities through strategic networking, industry events, and targeted outreach, focusing on clients who design, develop, or manufacture electronic products.
  • Conduct high-level product demonstrations and presentations to prospective clients, tailoring the message to decision-makers.
  • Drive the negotiation and closing of complex sales deals, ensuring the best outcomes for both DENPAFLUX and the customer.

Relationship Management and After-Sales Support:

  • Foster deep, long-term relationships with key clients, serving as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor.
  • Conduct regular check-ins with existing customers to ensure satisfaction and uncover new business opportunities, including upselling and cross-selling.
  • Work closely with the product development team to communicate customer needs and feedback, influencing future product offerings.

Team Leadership and Strategic Input:

  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior sales representatives, sharing best practices and technical knowledge.
  • Assume temporary leadership of the sales team in the absence of the Commercial Director, ensuring continuity and direction.
  • Collaborate on strategic sales planning and contribute insights into market trends, customer behaviors, and competitive dynamics.

Administration and Reporting:

  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities in our CRM system.
  • Support the preparation of financial sales reports, ensuring accuracy and strategic alignment.

Required education; knowledges and skills

Education:

  • Bachelor or Master degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.

Technical Expertise:

  • Extensive experience and technical expertise in engineering processes, particularly related to electronic product development.
  • Ability to clearly articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong understanding of engineering software and consulting solutions, with a proven ability to integrate these into client solutions.

Sales Skills:

  • Significant experience in technical sales, with a proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets, preferably within the software or engineering consulting sectors.
  • Exceptional negotiation, closing, and relationship-building skills, with an ability to develop deep client connections.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to identify customer needs and craft tailored solutions.

Communication and Leadership Skills:

  • Relationship-oriented, with a genuine curiosity about customer motivations and a focus on building long-term partnerships.
  • Leadership and mentoring abilities, capable of guiding and developing junior team members.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.

Organizational Skills:

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in managing multiple complex sales processes simultaneously.

Additional Requirements:

  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales tools.
  • Familiarity with Google Workspace and project management tools (e.g., Miro, Notion) is an advantage.
