For our sister company Paramelt B.V. we are looking for a Sales Manager (m/f/d) Mid-Europe in Hamburg as soon as possible.

Paramelt is global leader in specialty waxes, adhesives and coatings. For more than 125 years we are essentially wax formulators and are an independent, privately owned company.

Customer focus is fundamental to Paramelt’s success. We maintain a long-term relationship with many customers. We provide technical support to ensure good product performance and optimization of the customer’s process. Paramelt has dedicated sales professionals focusing on providing addedvalue to our existing customers and finding new customers that can benefit from our products and services.

As Sales Manager (m/f/d) Mid-Europe, you will be responsible for the sales and customer service activities in the DACH region. The team currently has three Sales Executives and three Customer Service & Sales Support colleagues. After a successful start, you will take on the challenge of integrating Czech Republic, Poland and Baltic States into the Mid-Europe territory.

In your role, you will be responsible for:

  • leading the Mid-Europe sales team to achieve set targets.
  • creating and realizing a territory sales plan.
  • expanding our customer portfolio in the territory and increasing our presence and contribution to existing customers.
  • Managing selected (global) key accounts.
  • proactively following up on market information and developments.
  • ensuring customer satisfaction with high service levels.

For this exciting position, we are looking for a suitable candidate who:

  • has at least 5 years of sales management experience and a proven track record of managing a sales team in the field of packaging coatings & adhesives or waxes.
  • is preferably educated to at least bachelor’s degree level in a commercial or scientific discipline or have demonstrable experience operating at this level.
  • has a hands-on mentality with well-developed sales and key account management skills.
  • is pragmatic, entrepreneurial, creative and strong in autonomously executing the sales plan.
  • understands critical processes within customers, to deliver effective solutions.
  • has excellent communication skills in German and English.
  • preferably lives close to Hamburg.
  • is passionate about increasing our business in the Mid-Europe territory
